Movistar Team​ already has a team for the Giro of Italia

Movistar has announced the team that will compete in the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia which starts on Friday 5 May in Sardinia and with Nairo Quintana as leader.

The Giro, which will start again on Friday, will conclude in Milan on Sunday, May 28 after 21 stages and 3,605 kilometers.

The route includes five top finishers – Ena (4th stage), Blockhaus (9th), Oropa (14th), Ortisei (18th) and Piancavallo (19th) – numerous middle and high mountain days concentrated in the last week and two times Individual: a longer and more sinuous, 39.8 km between Foligno and Montefalco (10th stage), and the closing, 27.6 km, with departure at the Autodromo Monza.
